Botox Injection of Botulism A treats wrinkles along the forehead, around the eyes and mouth. Superficial injections cause a temporary relaxation of the specific muscle. There are no systemic effects, only local to the muscle fiber injected. Effects can last 3 to 6 months and with repeated use even longer periods between treatments. The only FDA approved "Botox Cosmetic" produced by Allergen is exclusively used in this practice.
